HISTORY! ---==// The World-Wide Amiga BBS List!(tm) //==--- HISTORY!
============================================================================
Issue No.9 - Released: Apr 03, 1994
New Numbers Added: 63
Dropped: 4
Total Numbers Listed: 1055 <<-- L00K! Over a Thousand NOW!
New Systems Added: 41
Total Systems Listed: 782
/X/ Finally hit over a thousand! Yay! Look at all them numbers!
/X/ Some of you may have noticed I recently changed the name of my
system, Arkham Asylum was the name I originally wanted to call my
system when I first went online. But, once I saw another system by
that name (in Sweden), I decided to go with just 'Amiga Asylum'.
Since compiling this list, I've seen other Amiga Asylum names and
finally decided to make the switch in my name. Hey! If there can be
more than one Amiga Asylum, why not Arkham Asylum? <grin>
/X/ BIG ADVERTISEMENT TIME!!
Here's something completely unrelated to the bbs list.
I've started up some Fidonet echos which I'm trying to get on the
backbone. If there are any RCs/NCs/or HUBs out there interested in
helping me get these echos on the backbone. Please contact me. I
will poll your system to drop the mail if I know it'll get spread
onto other systems. I 'need' to get these on the backbone ASAP!
HIGHLANDER -- discussion about the awesome TV series and Movies
NONSPORT_CARDS -- discussion/sales/trading of non-sport related
trading cards. I love these things! I'm hooked!
COLLECTABLES -- discussions/sales/trading of ALL types of
collectables! This originally wasn't my echo to
start off with, it was handed over to me.
CMX4SALE -- Comic books for sale/trade/etc. This is not my echo,
but I promised to help spread the word. This echo
'should' be on the backbone!
If you can help me out with these, drop me Netmail at 1:324/134
addressed to Ed Dukeshire. Thanks!

/X/ Hmm... I guess I'll change the release date to the 3rd of each month
now. <g>
/X/ I'm glad to hear Amazing Computing is mentioning the list now. I
have yet to hear anything about Amiga World (maybe they're next?).
I do wish I could get my hands on an Amazing Computing magazine. My
area doesn't carry them.

/X/ YES! I finally finished up this month's edition! Only a day late
too! I was afraid this was going to end up being a VERY late list!
/X/ YES! I'm glad I finally got mention in an Amiga publication. I
heard that Amazing Computing 'mentioned' WABL! in this month's
issue? I haven't seen it yet, I'm hoping to grab an issue some
where.

/X/ Really busy month for me (not bbs list related!). I wasn't going to
release this list till the middle of the month, but a couple people
convinced me to meet the deadline. (Hi Neil! Hi Heather!)
/X/ The AmigaGuide version should be out soon. The hold up is my fault ..
(Hi Ron!) I didn't finish the list till 9:50pm and Ron won't have it in
his hands till at least later tonight.
/X/ I added a new header for the Ascii version. Swiped it from a menu on
GEnie Service! I hope they don't mind, I did leave a message but didn't
get a response.
/X/ Enjoy! And remember ... support your favorite Amiga BBS!
